Home Screening Room - The Bourne Legacy of Ted during the Ice Age

Yes…my column titles are always a bit weird in combining the titles for the week. But that’s the fun part when you’re given the list of releases to work with.

This Week's Big Releases

The Bourne Legacy - Rated PG-13 (Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz)
The Bourne series continues…without Jason Bourne? Yep it’s true, and that’s the biggest downfall to the film. There is action and fun action at that, but because of carrying the Bourne name, the film falls short of the predecessors. That said, if you are a fan of good action flicks, you do have to take a peek at least now that it’s available.

Ice Age: Continental Drift- Rated PG (Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary)
The journey of our lovable friends Manny, Sid and Diego continues.

Ted - Rated R/Unrated (Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, voice of Seth MacFarlane)
One of the funniest, and raunchiest, films of the year. The story of a boy and his bear will make you laugh, than take a shower! But you’ll love it.

Also New This Week
Backwards – Rated PG(Sarah Megan Thomas, James Van Der Beek)

Collision Earth – Rated PG(Kirk Acevedo, Diane Farr)
Eight is Enough: The Complete Second Season
Law and Order: Criminal Intent – Season 9
The Life Zone – Rated PG-13(Robert Loggia, Lindsey Haun)
Trade of Innocents – Rated PG-13 (Dermot Mulroney, Mira Sorvino)

Why Stop Now – Rated R (Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo, Tracy Morgan)

And Finally
Mansome – Rated PG-13 – (Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Judd Apatow)

Yep, it’s a documentary by Morgan Spurlock. What does it take to look like a man? The facial hair, the sculpting and the look that makes a man…mansome are all what will make this something to watch!

Check the trailer below.

DVD/Blu-ray Tidbit of the Week
The story as I’m picking it up is that one of the Best movies of 2012 and MULTIPLE Critics’ Choice Movie Awards nominee Argo should be making its way to homes on Feb. 19…of course with Oscar and all looming, who knows, that could change..

Pick of the Week
The raunchy bear Ted will always find a home with me!

Pop Popcorn, Do the DietDew, and Bust out the Blu and remember to Save Me A Seat!
