Home Screening Room - Ouija and John Wick had NOTHING to Do With The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby

Home Screening Room - Ouija and John Wick had NOTHING to Do With The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby
By Paul Hall

The beginning of a nice stretch of films for your home viewing pleasure - I love The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (and I only originally saw only the THEM version) The Blu-ray has the multiple version and perspectives to really enhance the film. And Jessica Chastain is marvelous in this, if I do say so myself.

On top of that the crazy violent but action packed John Wick will make you believe that Keanu Reeves as an action star...well works quite nicely thank you.

And Simon Pegg with a new movie...well I just love Simon Pegg ... throw in Oscar nominated actress Rosamund Pike...and it is something I just must see (I haven't to this point).

Paul’s Pick Of The Week
If you pick one movie this week … this is it.

The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby / Rated R / James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain
Life-changing events take all shapes and sizes. When Eleanor drops out of society and her life with Conor, the question is “why?” What is the underlying meaning, and can you really start a new life without a connection to your old one? As “Disappearance” arrives for home viewing, you can get all three versions of the film — “Him,” “Her” and “Them.” It’s the same story from different perspectives and proves extremely fascinating. (Grade: B+)
